They do not provide nursing, wound care, injections or therapy. Anything clinical stays with your loved one's own doctor.

My father's house is all stairs. Can a caregiver help with that?
Yes. Helping someone move safely around their own home is everyday work for us, and houses on this grade almost always mean stairs. A caregiver offers a steady arm, carries what should not be carried on a staircase, and keeps an eye on the damp steps that come with the fog here. This is non-medical support, not physical therapy.
My mother is proud and does not want help. What then?
