Local Care, Wherever Home Is in San Diego
San Diego is really a collection of neighborhoods, each with its own streets, its own pace, and its own kind of home. A hillside condo over Mission Bay asks for different things than a single level house in Rancho Bernardo. The care that fits a family in the La Jolla village is not quite the care that fits one in Scripps Ranch.
That local knowledge matters. Our caregivers know the drives, the parking, the clinics, and the quiet routes that make a day easier. And because Aloha is nurse led, the same standard of attentiveness follows your family into every one of our service areas, so where you live never changes the quality of the care you get.
One nurse led team. Communities across San Diego County. The same care, wherever home is.

Serving San Diego, Answered
Straight answers to what San Diego families ask us most about where and how we care.
Which San Diego neighborhoods does Aloha serve?
Aloha provides non-medical senior home care across San Diego County. That includes central San Diego neighborhoods like La Jolla, Carmel Valley, and University City, along with East County and South County communities such as El Cajon, La Mesa, Chula Vista, and Coronado. If you are just outside our usual areas, call us and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Is the care the same in every neighborhood?
Yes. One nurse led team, overseen by Maya German, RN, sets the standard everywhere we work. Your caregiver brings local knowledge of your area, but the quality of care never changes from one neighborhood to the next.
Do you charge more to care for certain neighborhoods?
No. Aloha is private pay, and pricing is based on the hours and level of support your family needs, not on which neighborhood you live in. We walk through clear, honest pricing during your free consultation.
What if we live just outside your listed service areas?
Ask us anyway. We care for families across San Diego County, and while the neighborhoods we feature are where we work most, our boundaries are not exact. Call (858) 399-1400 and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you, rather than promising something we cannot deliver.
How quickly can care begin in my neighborhood?
It usually begins within days, wherever you are in San Diego. We start with a free consultation, then build a plan and match a caregiver. If your need is urgent, tell us and we will prioritize it.
Can you keep the same caregiver if my loved one moves across town?
Where it is practical, yes, and we always try. Continuity matters, so if a move takes your loved one to another of our neighborhoods, we work to keep the same caregiver and, when that is not possible, to hand over care carefully.
Still have a question? Call us at (858) 399-1400.
